Deniz Marie Başer

Ms. Başer received her Juris Doctor in 1994 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in Detroit, Michigan. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and French with a concentration in Pre-Law from Albion College in Michigan (1987) and studied toward a Master's Degree in Political Science and International Relations at the Bogazici Universitesi in Istanbul, Turkey (1991).

Ms. Başer was previously employed as a Sr. Associate Attorney for the Employment Unit of KRA Immigration Law Group in Livonia, Michigan, and as an Associate Attorney with TransNational Legal Services, P.C. in Rochester Hills, Michigan, where she was responsible for all types of family and employment-based immigration matters. Prior, Ms. Başer also worked for U.S. Congressman Bob Carr as well as the University of Michigan Health System/M-CARE.

Ms. Başer is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Michigan, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She has also been actively involved with the Turkish American Cultural Association of Michigan (TACAM) for over ten years.
